Allison Cara Tolman was born in the US. She is best known for her role as Molly Solverson from the FX TV show Fargo during its initial season. Tolman received praise for her performance as Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair noting her that she "calmly and certainly completely stole the film".
